Congratulations! I believe I do know him. Did he go to Washington Marion in the mid 90's? If not, I'm thinking of someone else.

I can believe what asignupe 99 says...I'll take his word that it was all Janzens dad on the LYING and playing LSU. As for the gas station robbery...I'm still skeptical.

I was overnight in OPP before.

since i seem to have set the stage for a derail, let me get back to what the point of my post was, which was not intended to set up a debate on the douche baggery of jansen and/or his father, or lack thereof.

my point was, even if we dont get johnson, things will work out and possibly for the better. (see other example in above mentioned post.) if a kid wants to stay home, i understand that, even if the school is "less than wonderful". it is still a home state school, and maybe a kid wants to try to help turn it around.

ya win some, ya lose some. the only ones i might get a bit befuddled on are louisiana kids that i think are being lied to and used such as robinson. his "mentor" needs to be run out of state because i have the feeling there is some $eriou$ $henanigan$ going on there, that could possibly ruin his future. but thats another rant for another thread.

this was about cj johnson, and not being twisted he is following his heart. and who knows, some kid we get instead of him may just turn out to be the shining star we would not have had room for had we landed johnson.

IMO, and being from MS, if he was "following his heart", he'd be at MSU. If he was following his brain, he'd be at LSU. I don't know WHAT he's following to Oxford. If it was a location thing, he'd def be at MSU. He's about an hour away from Starkvegas...

............or he could be following the smell of crisp Benjamins

...........or, having been to Ole Miss on a few occasions and checked out the scenery, he could be following the smell of Pantene, perfume, and pu......uh.......skirts, blowing in the breeze.

Especially since he was all MSU, and stated if it wasn't MSU, it would've been LSU. And from most accounts, OM backed off when he committed to MSU.
