Re: 2011 LB Trevon Randle Commits to LSU Long way to Feb. 2011, but I think Randle will stick with LSU. The little I've read, this is what he wanted to happen, and he said if he got the offer, he'd commit quick. Now, Mac Brown has never been in my living room, but... I think Trevon stays a Tiger commit. Just my gut, nothing else.
Re: 2011 LB Trevon Randle Commits to LSU thought the same thing about mike davis, that he a stick for sure, then poof he jumped shipped to UT
Re: 2011 LB Trevon Randle Commits to LSU I have hope for the position with Chavis in place, the coming of age of Kelvin Sheppard may be the most underrated story of last season. Dude had 100 plus tackles and was just a beast against the run. My point is, i believe a linebacker that has the tools but maybe not the experience will flourish under Chavis.
Re: 2011 LB Trevon Randle Commits to LSU Good, I hope they fill up all of their spots and leave Randle alone. We can win championships with a few of UT's leftovers.:yelwink2:
“He’s a really good kid with high character,” his high school coach Clint Hartman said. “He’s not going to be a kid who breaks team policies. That’s not him.” Daily Reveille - Football: Four-star recruit commits to LSU --a two-time Texas 5A All-State selection as a soph and a junior --121 tackles as a soph, 152 tackles as a junior. Offers from several Big 12 (Oklahoma, Nebraska, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Baylor) and Pac 10 (UCLA, Oregon, Arizona) schools.
Last night on the Houston news the lead story on high school football showed Randal taking a kickoff and returning it 95 yards. He looked like a really fast running back as opposed to a OLB. The sports caster mentioned LSU like 7 times and how happy LSU must be to getting a "Linebacker" that can return kickoffs at this level of high school football. Also of note, I do not have video to link but when he got to the endzone he acted as if it was not his first time.
Looks like he will enroll early. I am really looking forward to seeing how he develops. TigerRag - RECRUITING UPDATE: Trevon Randle
I was at the game Thursday night. Trevon had a good game. In addition to the kickoff return for a touchdown, he had a couple of tackles behind the line. But the thing I like best is that he is in a great program at Clear Springs High. All of the jerseys and hats sold to parents/students have the acronym "INAM" on them. INAM stands for "It's Not About Me". The head coach instills that belief in all his players. They all know that no individual is more important than the team. I think Clear Springs will go far into the 5A playoffs again this year.
