Pretty good prospect out of South Plaquemines holds a LSU offer but looks like he wants to leave the state for college as of now. His coach says UGA and Arky are his leaders but does not have an offer from either yet. Thug HS. Getting a player from South Plaquemine gives you a player with the same mentality that was cultivated at The U during the bad ole days. At least that's how he hear it from some coaches who've gone against Crutchfield lately.
Maybe true for some but Sylve is nothing like that from what I have seen and heard. Don't know much at Fitte personality wise.
And probably, being pummeled, by one of the best teams in the state the last few years, had absolutely nothing to do with their opinions.
my mom taught at Port Sulpher before hurricane katrina and found Cyril Crutchfield to be an extremely nice guy who went out of his way to get his players in line if any of them ever acted up in class. Not sure about his players or personality now but back from 01-04ish i've heard nothing but good things from her.
