Re: S Byron Moore NO LONGER CONSIDERING LSU From what I have gathered on the situation Moore was gauging interest in LSU for the most part through Shep and some of the coaching staff and LSU was intrigued by the possibility. Moore had a few conversations with the staff and we laid it out straight for him about the depth at the safety position and they came to a mutual understanding that LSU was not a favorable place for him if he wants early playing time. No ill will on either side, just that Moore did not see it as a favorable situation for him and the coaching staff did not argue against his conclusion.
Re: S Byron Moore NO LONGER CONSIDERING LSU So the question becomes do we feel really good about Myles? Otherwise, the coaching staff turning down Moore makes absolutely no sense. Many experts would consider Moore just as good as Myles, if not better.
Re: S Byron Moore NO LONGER CONSIDERING LSU Just for the record I am not saying LSU would not have taken him if he wanted to come here. Just that we were honest about our situation at the safety position and we did not pressure him or mislead him because of the numbers we can take in this class. Personally, I think we are done with Safety and Myles ends up at Bama or Tenn. We have 3 really good 2010 safeties coming in this weekend and I think the staff will shift focus on landing 2 at the safety position for next year.

Re: S Byron Moore NO LONGER CONSIDERING LSU I heard Byron Moore had a big wart on the end of his nose, and when he was foolin with it he accidentally got a booger on his finger. He kept trying to flick it off, but it just wouldn't come off no matter what he did. It was disgusting!!
