Recruiting Roundup: LSU looks to add QBs to 'The Family' :geaux: Good read. :thumb: Found it on Dandy Don's site. :LSU231:
QB for LSU There is a QB that plays for Collins Hill High School, Lawrenceville, GA that LSU should take a look at. He has over 2000 yards passing , 25 touchdowns, 72% completion rating, all of this in only seven games. He runs the offense with poise, can go to second or third receivers with ease. He has played against 4 state ranked 5A teams in the 7 games played, 2 of the others are leading their districts. His name is Taylor Heinicke. 6'2" 195
He has had a great year and probably moved up LSU's board as the top in-state QB in this class. LSU didn't offer though.
After the game Saturday it was pointed out on how young this LSU team. Some accounts have 9 Scholarship Seniors on team, plus one Jr CB that should leave for the NFL. Realize that everyone over Recruits but it seems to me that several players are going to have to leave the program to reach the magic # of 85
