Are there any concerns about the speed of Alonzo Lewis? I ask because I saw a 4.9 40 time and a slow shuttle also at a combine for him. I had the same type of concerns about Ricky Dixon and he didn't pan out.
Id say Texas will probably reach that mark first as they already have 13 with us having 9. Also they still have another junior day and traditionally they are nearly done after their second junior day while we pick up some during throughout the year. Who knows though since this is an unprecedented year in LSU recruiting.
No one knows for sure yet but we should sign anywhere from 20-25. Attrition and players leaving early for the draft will determine the number at a later date.
Any inside info on who may be the next commitment? I suppose the weekend of the Spring Game may be the next prime weekend? Nothing expected before then?
I don't expect any before the next Junior Day. I have a long list of visitors listed for the Spring game and will post the possibilities early next week.
