bhelm, some Texas fans are saying on TD that Randle did not make it to Texas's jr. day! We may get this kid if Les can pull off his magic again. I'm just scared of a possible Mike Davis incident at the end.
To UT Junior Day? I have not heard his name mentioned from Texas posters as attending. Nothing official though.
Whats the story on QB Stevie Douglas from Baton Rouge La. Baton Rouge Prep Academy?? Also, why wouldn't LSU tender more offers to the big Ugly's (offensive linemen). According to Scout we have offered only 7 Linemen total (guards & tackles). Considering the problems we have had lately runing the ball seems we would have 12-15 offers out there nation wide. Seems we would offer every 5 star kid out there just to see if he would be interested?
Don't know much except for his story on MTV. Home schooled kid who is a pretty good player but I don't think he is a main target for LSU but it is early. Tough to gauge a kid who plays against very limited competition.
I see conflicting reports...if he didn't make it, I take that as a great sign for LSU. If he was so interested in Texas, he'd make a effort to find a ride to their junior day, IMO.
I don't think it really matters because we know he is interested in Texas and tried to make arrangements to get down there this weekend. He will visit Texas this year and LSU and will likely show up at Junior Days at both programs. If he fails to make the 2nd UT Junior Day, I will take that as a fairly good sign but nothing to get too worked up about.

I think we will see 1-3 commits today. Possible guys IMO are Bradley Sylve, Renaldo Thomas, and Alonzo Lewis. I think Sylve hold off a little while though. Others to watch are Oliver or Ryan Byrd if offered but I have my doubts that either is offered this early. Oliver has the better chance at an offer today out of the 2. I think Greg Robinson holds out a little longer but Wilson is always a factor to work some magic. LB Beau Fitte and Nick Shepard could also be in that If offered this early category. Odell Beckham Jr. could be an option if he makes it in today and the same could be said about Quentin Thomas. OOS possibility is Trevon Randle out of Texas. He has been high on LSU and did not get offered by Texas so far. Could be a Mike Davis situation but Texas is pretty stacked at LB already and have guys higher on their board but the same could have been said about Mike Davis early on last year. Sedrick Flowers did not commit at UT last weekend and I wouldn't expect him to come here and commit either.
