Even if we don't get Magee, I should think getting Ware, Gore, Blue, Hilliard and Hill over a 2-year period is enough at RB. What we need is offensive linemen, lots of offensive linemen.
Well, since we "lost" 3 upperclassmen RBs this year, I will disagree. Some of these guys will get a redshirt, and get staggered but only getting one RB last year is the major influence on this. Not to diminish a perpetual need at Oline, but we will need these horses, and it is obvious that Miles is demanding a greater focus and success at running the ball. Our lack of which, probably hurt JJ more than any one thing.
Agreed, but we will go into next season with Murphy, Ridley, Ford, Ware, Blue and Gore. Lose Murphy after that but add Hilliard and Hill. We'll be in good shape, I think. But we are very thin on the line right now, and the current list of commitments (for 2010)has only one player being recruited as an offensive lineman.
Agree...Also thought our Oline recruiting would've been better this class but I guess 2011 oline class will help out.
Add Porter and Fordham to the OL list and watch for current DL to switch to the OL next year. Maybe Clement.
Added A.J. Johnson to the list. One of the top LBs in the country just decommitted from Tenn and says LSU is in the mix and already got a call from the LSU staff.
