Yeah those were pretty bad. I think the economy is going to hurt scouting a lot this year. ESPN and Yahoo are definitely cutting back, and Scout has no money at all...so it may be hit or miss this year. There are going to be some big website changes by the end of the year.

Added to that are many people are dropping their subscriptions. Truthfully the sites don't deliver that much you can't get elsewhere a few minutes later.

Sylve at #37 in the country is laughable. When was the last time he even played football?

I think they made some comment about him being injury prone, I would say a stretch top 100, he does have some speed though.

Hill absent from the list. Other than that, I like who we have regardless of the ranking.

We need some DEs, I hoping an outstate DE or two.
    To me top priority in-state:
    - Robinson, duh
    - Rasco
    - Beckham

I am kind of split on M. Johnson.

    Rivals 250 btw.

He does have some serious speed but how do you have someone who hasn't played football in almost a year.. in the top-50? He doesn't have elite measurables outside of speed and he definitely doesn't have the production..

I just don't get it. I'd love to have him in purple/gold but I always thought of him as a 5.8-5.9 4* kinda guy.

What did you mean you were split on MJohnson? He's got a gigantic ego and he loves the process.. but right now.. I think we hold the lead.

    "gigantic ego"

    +1

He is strong no doubt, I just don't get a good vibe. Hopefully I am wrong. I don't like kids that like the process, in general. Usually more trouble than they are worth.

    Too much drama.

On a side note, DE to me seems like an area of weakness in the state, to me we'll need to get a out-state guy or two. Other than that I love the guys we have and the guys remaining on the board. Texas will probably have a higher ranking but I think this will be LSU's best class ever.

I have actually talked with Mickey recently. It is a mix of a slight ego and having fun with the media. His is living it up right now but working hard. Seems like a really nice as well and respectful. LSU is in a great spot.
