He really likes LSU and Coach Haley but going to be hard to battle with UGA at this time. His is very close with that staff.
He has also stated he wants to win a :crystal: and he has to know we have balls :crystal:and are a lot closer to another 1 than UGA!!! I will keep the hope alive!!!!!!! Bhelm any info on who is supposed to do the ol hat deal at the Under Armour and the Army games. Should we not expect any commits since the games are only a couple weeks away. I guess it would be good for LSU if we had a few hats put on on TV.
I think we could still work something in our favor and not completely out of it but I hear Drew and Richt read bible passages to each other almost every day, etc... As for the hat thing we could see Beckham or maybe even Hill do it now.
LB Lateek Townsend will also have our hat up. He is coming for a visit on the 21st though so we have to see how that goes.

Drew has not been in the discussion lately, but there are some rumors that he doesn't want to play in a 3-4 defense (UGA) and that Auburn has backed off, leaving LSU as the leader with Clemson as a dark-horse. Someone else told me that Brick Haley was heading out to meet him. Not sure if they actually know that or if they read it somewhere, but they seemed to believe it. I'm bumping this because Drew is supposed to announce tomorrow...
