Diamond in the rough CB who came away with an offer from the LSU staff after the July camp. He also dominated at the Hoover 7on7 this week. Expect him to jump up the rankings. He is out of Olive Branch HS in MS and has LSU way out front and could commit sooner rather than later.

Definetely didn't think it would be this soon but I will take it. I love his size and I hear he has great speed and hips.

Very solid based on the TSD article.

Plus Texas doesn't even have room for Jenkins at this time and I expect him to commit to LSU within the next week or so as well. I think Jenkins was going to be LSU regardless because of his family ties and LA is more of his home tan Texas.

I think we'll land Jenkins too but I think Jenkins actually wants to go to UT, IMO. If UT gets on him, I think he'll go there instead.

I'd like us to get Raven and we'll be complete. 4 DBs, all hybrids who could play either S/CB. Works for me. I hope LSU has room for Raven, I really do.

Jenkins has always been very high on LSU and he could have committed to Texas when they put the press on but he wanted to get a closer look at LSU and another CB committed. If he really wanted UT he could have been there IMO.

Like CB Jabari Greer of the N.O. Saints, Jalen Collins is also excellent in the hurdles in track

Collins as a high school junior:

--In the 2010 North State Track Championship (May 8), Collins finished #4 in the 6A Mens 110m Hurdles (two seniors were #2 and #3) and Collins finished #2 in the 6A Mens 300m Hurdles (a senior was #1). LINK and LINK

--A few days later, in the 2010 State Track Championship (May 14/15), Collins finished #2 ('Silver Medal') in the 6A Mens 110m Hurdles (a senior was #1) and Collins finished #7 in the 6A Mens 300m Hurdles (a senior was #1). LINK
