LSU drops 7 Top 25 teams when they played them, as well dropped 3 Top 3 teams along the way... yet the CBS crew has decided UGA defeats LSU. LOL do these fools even watch football? This team will not be denied. 2011 BCSNC!!! Also, our 3rd stringer ZM would be the starter at UGA.
Actually, Gary Danielson said that if we beat UGA for the SEC Championship, a BCSCG rematch against Bama should ONLY be for the BCS title. He believes we have proven to be the best team in the country. Said we should get at least a share of the title in that circumstance.
I don't think Bama should be given a do over for losing at home, and not even winning their division. It's asinine in all honesty. Compare both teams and our road was no gimme, and Bama couldn't shore up their cup cake schedule. Had LSU lost we wouldn't be having this discussion as we'd be headed to the Sugar, no ifs ands or butts about it. But it is what it is.
Truely, if Ok State beats OU, they should play for the title over Bama. Again, though, I welcome the challenge of facing the Tide again for all the marbles. Beating them twice in one season is something I'm all in for. GEAUX TIGERS!!!
I'm all for beating their ass again if that's how it plays out, but my point has been... Reverse the situation and had we lost we're not in this same argument so why are they so special? The bias and hypocrisy towards Bama is sickening.
Maybe we should play the Steelers, the Ravens, the Saints, and Green Bay. If we can go 3-1 with that schedule maybe we get some respect??? Seriously though...I just don't get it. I understand they have to have something to talk about...but if this were USC or Bama...they would be saying GOAT.
