I heard he was in Baton Rouge for a little bit last weekend. I thought this would play out until NSD but not holding out much hope and pretty satisfied with the class of WRs we are expected to have. Anything can happen on NSD....:milesmic:
Are their haters here? I have not read through the whole thread. Even though I wish he were at LSU, and really hate him being at Auburn, I thought he has handled his recruitment in an excellent and honorable manner. Ultimately, it's his choice to go where he wants, and I can't blame a kid for that. Just they way some of them handle it. A Tenn commit named Jackson comes to mind. But Reed is all class in my book, and I hope he has a great career. Against everyone but us...:yelwink2:
Think that was a joke started by friends on facebook. He isn't the type IMO who would want to drag this out any further. He has handled it well up to this point and no reason to give false hope because he has most LSU fans at ease with Auburn if he wants to go there. Counterproductive IMO. I think he gets this over with one way or another tomorrow.
I'm just prodding at the Miles/Crowton haters. It's beneath me. But I sometimes can't help myself.
Another poster claiming that the locals close to reed are thinking he might switch tomorrow... we shall see if it's just a rumor, but the guy claims he knows some of the LSU staff
I don't think he will switch...but I think we gave him something to think about in the end...makes you wish we had Coach G and Frank Wilson earlier in the process.
I think he is standing firm with his commitment. I haven't seen any disrespect to anyone by him. Reed has handled this like a man, not a kid. I will repeat this even if he does switch.
