Thought this quote was interesting. Don't know what site it came from though. I assume an Auburn paysite. Kind of smashes the saying that AU fans use about how he would never decommit because he committed on his mom's birthday. Not saying he will leave Auburn but you have to think that LSU has a chance if Wilson and a new WR coach pushes for him.
Not saying he is going to change by any means but showing that even Reed himself is saying anything can happen. AU fans across every board are saying there is no chance he would decommit because he committed on his mom's birthday. Which is ridiculous... I know Reed is still talking to the LSU staff still and already has a relationship built with Wilson. So I thought the quote was interesting for a number of reasons. However, LSU should first and foremost try to secure Davis.
Davis is not visiting Austin this weekend. He has a bball thing going or something. Basically said Texas hasn't really been in contact with him either...doesn't know where the rumors are coming from. Either hes lying or orangeblood needs to shutup with the rumors already.
Bhelm, you knew someone was going to ask. Do you think this move may change Reed's commitment to Auburn since we can promise him immediate playing time? This really sucks about Davis. I was really looking forward to seeing him in P&G.
It helps given I hear he started looking around at other program once we got the commitment from Davis. I am not going to say we are now the new leader or anything like that but having 2 new staff members who Reed really like and were recruiting him to their respective schools helps our cause. It gets harder and harder for a prospect to leave home as NSD approaches but Reed has called Auburn home. We will have to wait and see what happens with Davis and wait and see what people in Reed's camp say closer to NSD because I don't see anything changing until that day if he did want to switch. All I know for sure is that Reed is intrigued by the hires and is listening to what LSU is saying. We have never stopped constant contact with him .
With the Greg Robinson news came more confirmation that the LSU staff is still very much interested in Reed, meeting with him, and he is listening according to quotes from Coach Lorio on TSD.
