    With Mike Davis maybe visiting Texas and UT stepping up their recruitment of him, Maybe Reed would have a great chance of playing as a true freshman if Davis bolts. Wilson should be making Reed aware of this possibility.

    If Davis bolts Reed will be at LSU, I think. I'd rather have Davis if I had to choose. He's one of the guys who can make an early impact IMO.

    It is possible and I agree I would rather Davis. However, I think both will develop into great athletes in college. I think Davis is more of a prototype WR and is more college ready of the 2. I think Reed can be used in more creative ways than Davis.

    Reed will not be attending LSU, and there is now a very good possibility that Davis switches to Texas.

    I think we land Reed if Davis leaves. We'll sell him hes our only true slot receiver and we can promise him PT since Davis will not be here. It will be what he wants to hear. Its one reason he didn't commit here. Wilson can only help in his recruiting too.

    That being said...I'd much rather keep Davis.

    Why? Elaborate, is it because Reed left the state or is Davis a better player, just wondering.

    Davis is a better player and not because Reed left the state. Incredibly underrated on Rivals. Top 50 player, IMO.
