    Oh well, I think now we need to put on the full court press for Wright...plus it's only a matter of time before Fobbs switches so not all is bad.

    Of course he's not close to the ATH that Shepard was. He's definitely a better QB than Shepard is/was, though.

    Jefferson, Garrett, Lee, :insane::huh:

    Some kids are scared of high expectations. At AU no one will expect him to lead the team to anything. Finishing 4th in the west will not maintain, but will improve the status quo. Look forward to seeing him play in the Poulan Weed Eater Bowl sometime soon.

    The record of players not seeing much PT or being developed as true freshmen under Les Miles is definitely playing a significant part to those that say they want to see the field early and often. This weighed heavily in Auburn's favor and gave LSU little to no chance at landing him.

    At least we were honest with him. Miles has the greatest level of integrity of any coach in college football.

    So few freshmen really see quality PT in their first year. I hope that's not why he made his decision. There's so much more to early PT than athletic ability. Gets proven year after year.

    Being out of town & computerless most of the time I just read the news in the paper today about TR. I wish him well, I never felt that we were gonna get him for some reason. I have the same feeling about L Seastrunk. Hope I am wrong about him. LSU does great most of the year in Recruiting but down the streach we seem to lose out on the big ones. Don't jump on me for being negative - You want negative - LSU is losing to Louisiana Tech at home on homecoming at the half. Thats reality & that also factual..
    What Kind of backup plan does LSU have to replace Reed & possibility Seastrunk if we don't get him??

    Reed (Fobbs and/or Wright) however, imo, as good as Fobbs is at receiver, I think he could be an elite cornerback.

    Seastrunk (Blue or Gore)

    From what i've been hearing/reading/seeing.
