5'9 165 4* WR out of Mobile, AL is rumored to be down to UF and LSU. I am hearing UF has a big lead but LSU will have a good shot to turn him at the LSU Spring game. I have heard a few Bama fans say that he will not go to Bama because of the type of offense they run and Patton feels that UF and LSU have a more speed oriented offense that he feels fits his style better. I assume he would be a take for the LSU staff as a slot WR but I do not know for sure. Some teams are worried about his size but it doesn't seem to bother UF much. A decision should be made fairly soon.
I would have to say UF having a big lead is not a rumor based on a few updates from his recent visits and what insiders are saying. All the other stuff I heard could be classified as rumor however.
More of an infatuation with Florida after visiting there a few weeks ago -- like every recruit that gets the next Percy treatment. He is favoring them but I wouldnt read too deep into it at this point. LSU is not way out in front of Alabama and Auburn. The offenses of the respective teams will be a nice tool in his recruitment, but Bama and Auburn have speed guys as a priority too.
I was rehashing what a few Bama fans thought about the situation when they said UF and LSU were out front but it would be hard to say that based on the fact he has not been on campus yet. However, I will have to disagree with you about the trip to UF just being an infatuation since the visit because his outspoken love for UF came way before the actual visit. UF has been on him the most so far and I would be a little shocked if he doesn't end up there.
Hes not going to pick LSU. We have Hunter, Davis and possibly Simon as 3 WRs. With the possibility of getting another receiver in Lee and Reed. I doubt he ends up here, unless we lose on Reed, which is starting to look like a possibility.
