I know most recruits don't pay that close attention, however, that was such a enormous gaffe on national TV and talked about so much nationally that I truly believe it may have some rethinking their choices. Just like players read and hear things now much more than they did before, I'm sure recruits, their friends and family inform or remind them of these things as well.
Re: Mike Davis Decommits from LSU John David Booty had a decent career at USC, Ramon Broadway is a starting cornerback for Arkansas, Richard Smith also had a decent career at Arkansas, Phillip Geiger was a starter for Texas, and Jonathan Wade was a pretty good player for Tennessee.
