Re: 2010 WR Mike Davis COMMITTED TO LSU Now it would be nice if BG could pull in Vincent Sanders and James Wright oh or Darius White just to wish upon a star.
Re: 2010 WR Mike Davis COMMITTED TO LSU We are getting Wright's last official visit and I think we will snag him. Fobbs will be in play as well. Reed is still listening. I am sure we will draw interest from some prospects he recruited for UF.
Mike Davis Decommits from LSU Today Mike Davis withdrew his commitment to LSU and committed to play for Texas. Not unexected, but a big loss for the recruiting class. This could make LSU more attractive to James Wright, but Davis was better and I would rather keep him and loss Wright than vice versa. With the loss of Trovon Reed, the probable loss of Seastrunk and now the losses of Hardrick and Davis, the recruiting effort has taken some real hits and needs to rebound.
Re: Mike Davis Decommits from LSU This is prolly due to several coaches being shown the door, hopefully the new coaches coming in can bring some studs in with them. But in the end these guys will be kicking themselves in the butt like janzen will be soon... these kids will learn one day.
Re: Mike Davis Decommits from LSU Unfortunate, but best of luck to him. I think he'll end up being an amazing player.
Re: 2010 WR Mike Davis COMMITTED TO LSU I would rather Reed now than Wright. Not a knock on James at all but we need a true slot receiver really bad... I don't like how this kid handled his situation, bad attitude but good luck to him. I think hes going to be a great WR.
Re: Mike Davis Decommits from LSU LSU needs two more WRs in this class. Wouldn't mind Reed as top priority for the true receiver slot and Wright who would be another great WR. LSU can go straight to Reed and tell him he has PT in his future since our slot receiver is gone. He would be the guy and our only true slot guy in this class. Rumors awhile back were Davis turned him off LSU...don't know how true that is.
Re: Mike Davis Decommits from LSU So I am not thinking "Always us" But is it me or do we have an unusual amount of these kinds of things happen to LSU. Big time players commit then de-commit. Last year it was Jackson and I think another. Or is this normal across the board in recruiting. I just dont recall besides Perriloux a big time commit decommiting and coming to LSU and he from Louisiana. Seems to be more the other way around. Again before I get flamed that is more of a question than a statement. Just curious if this happens more to LSU than others. As for Davis. Meh..... If he didnt want to be at LSU then good luck at UT which is where he wants to be it appears. I am sure the seasons between LSU and UT helped their cause.
