4* WR out of GA who is currently committed to Tenn should be making a visit to LSU soon.

He has been in contact with Coach Wilson and Gonzales. Going to be a hard pull given he has not been to LSU yet.

He's a good prospect, the Atlanta paper has been mentioning him regularly for a year and a half.

But I don't think he fits the profile of the type of WR we need. We need a big play, run after the catch guy, and he seems more like a deep-threat/jump ball WR in the mold of guys we already have like Randle and Toliver.

I think he fits fine. Randle was used sparingly this year, watch for a dramatic perfomance in 2010, as he will be the #2 WR. Tolliver isn't just a deep threat jump ball WR. He's a tall target who makes tough grabs, exactly what we need for JJ. Gore will play a lot of slot eventually, so watch for him to be in the Wes welker mode.

very slim shot, I think he would be one of the ones going to USC.
We need receivers imo, just not this one.

I wonder if that Prater kid is going to flip from USC, for somewhere else.

another opinion of mine, Prater isnt good as he is advertised. I think he dominated in high school because of his size. At the AAA game, this guy had alot of problems getting off the line and running crips routes. Also he doesnt have the breakaway speed to be a deep threat. He would be an awesome redzone and possession guy, if he gets stronger and learns how to run routes.

Ambles was considering visiting LSU before the news of Kiffen but he says he is waiting to see who Tenn hires 1st. Ambles has some character issues to worry about as well and LSU will go with the in-state guys 1st.

LSU will take 2 WRs but I think it will be 2 out of Reed, Wright, Fobbs, and Boone.
