oh it's easy to say that AFTER the fact... but when you listened to it in the moment, the game got to the point where it needed to end. had LSU lost, which it definitely seemed like they were going to, it would have been different. i could have deleted the post after they won the game and no one would have known because most people were sleeping while i was up listening to the game. in retrospect, it was a very, very good win, but at 11:30 PM, i'm absolutely positive i wasn't the only one saying "let's end this." :yelwink2:

yep, and during that time, i saw absolutely no reason for the game to go much further than 12 innings. in mid-week games, once you get to the point where position players are having to pitch, the game's out of hand. i remember a few years back when ryan theriot had to come on to pitch... i don't remember which game it was, but i do remember that he did the job: threw strikes.
