No, the talent depth of LSU wore out Vandy. Most of us predicted a win, and some of us predicted an ugly win. This is how we knew it would play out - a win. LSU's offense, OVERALL, looked pretty bad and our talent outplayed theirs, especially the defense and later in the second half. Their defense couldn't get off the field due to a putrid offense. It's great to see the Tigers win, but if you are honest with yourself, when we start to play Miss State, Auburn, Florida, Alabama, etc, we won't be able to wear them out like this. We will be playing teams that match closer to our recruiting and talent level. Call me negative, but it's sound reasoning. More sound reasoning.
Let's see....our offense looked like TOTAL HORSE**** aagainst a VERY PATHETIC football team... Not happy at all with tonight's performance. Thanks for playing.
I know, I know, couldnt' resist tweaking a nega-tiger. Yes, during that 0-for-8 streak, Jefferson looked horrible. Who knows, perhaps that's why we're seeing Jarrett Lee come in now. Coach Miles wants to at least see where he's at in case he's needed in crunch time. Hope we can get Lee some passing reps on this next drive without looking like we're running up the score needlessly.
