Those positives outweigh those negatives by several orders of magnitude. Vandy has yet to capitalize on any LSU negative.
I can't see the game (frustrating as HELL), but I haven't heard Hawthorne say the receivers are dropping nice passes.
Alright boys and girls. Here it is. Defense is at the very least...good. Yes, it's Vandy, but that QB put up a HELL of a game last week against Northwestern. No, NW isn't great...but they ain't 1AA. I think it's mostly the line disrupting, but at least the secondary seems to be in the right places tonight. Improvement on defense. Now for the REST of the story.... The offense is horrendous. The OL is bad. JJ is awful tonight. Yes, there have been drops...but NONE of them were good passes that the receivers just dropped. Even the little screen to Shep that he most certainly SHOULD have caught...was not thrown in a position that he could've done anything with it. I don't think Lee is necessarily the answer. However, some have suggested some pine might be good for JJ for a series or two to wake his arse up. I'm for it at this point. I don't think he had a bad game last weekend, but he's AWFUL tonight. Happy sunshine, everyone.
please dont try and put this on the recievers! LSU has GREAT recievers! How would you like running up and down the damn field knowing the coaches wont call a decent pass play and if they do....Jefferson cant complete it! Its hard to get into the game knowing this.
