In looking at the improvement in Ark, Auburn, and Miss. State, along with an already solid Ole Miss and Bama, we got our work cut out for us next year.

I hate to say it but we already have the talent, in my humble opinion, so how do we manage to do better next season?

Every game next year will be a huge challenge, moreso than of late.

If you look at recruiting, Ole Myth, Arky, and Miss St are the pits! AU is a solid 3rd. LSU and Bama are the 2 dogs in the hunt.

Miss St loses Dixon and Ole Miss loses Snead and McCluster. So those teams pretty much lose their whole offense.

Snead is only a junior, and he ain't on anybody's draft board. So, he'll be back. But honestly, he isn't that great. So I'd still expect Lol Misses offense to take a serious hit with the loss of McCluster.

no offense, but that is the same argument i used in 2008 and now in 2009. and it's still not holding water. if LSU loses against arky today that is 0-6 against ole miss, arkansas and alabama over the last two seasons. recruiting means naught, my friend. we're not utilizing our resources (coaches, players, schemes) to our advantage.

no one knew who the hell mccluster was before midway through this season. it doesn't matter who the player is, someone will always be ready to step up.

Recruiting is the single most common factor in bcs champions. Every one has been in the top
in the recruiting rankings. It is not the only factor but it is a major one

I don't expect Bama to be better than they were this year overall and has a much tougher schedule. We lose a lot of starters especially on defense.
We play Penn State in game two, while not an SEC game, will still have it's impact. We have Arky, Tenn, LSU on the road, Florida, Auburn, Mississippi State and Ol Miss at home.
I expect Arky, LSU, and Auburn to be better next year. I think Old Miss will drop a lot and MSU, Tn, and Florida to be about the same.
I don't see a dominate team and expect it to be a dog fight with about 4 teams in the arena until late in the season.
