Well storm is not giving up. I hope he lands on his feet. Recruiting: Storm Johnson Update - AthlonSports.com
That doesn't sound as if the coaching staff told him there is no room for him. Is there any way he ends up a Tiger?
It is possible if we miss out on Lache but I don't see it happening. The fact that he added another school in the mix tells me he knows he is not a shoe in to be a Tiger and he was asked to hold off. Also means he does not hold any hard feelings towards the LSU staff.
Yeah, aslong as Miles is the coach you won't ever have to worry about a shady or a questionable character coach being on the staff.
Another scenario is that he is trying to save face and not let on that he doesn't have a commitable offer. He doesn't benefit from playing a weak hand and letting it known that a premier program has cooled on him. I'm not saying this is fact, but it just crossed my mind.
His dad is all over the place but I hope it works out for his son. Can't be a commit if Miles told them he was still being evaluated. A lot of contradictions. :hihi: Most likely thing that happened was Miles said to sit on it and they refused to take no for an answer. Dad decided to put the pressure on and it backfired. Georgia running back Storm Johnson withdraws disputed LSU commitment - NOLA.com
Before anyone criticizes LSU, this is happening all across the SEC right now. Florida has turned down a bunch of guys in the last few weeks, same for Georgia. I do think nola.com has practiced some irresponsible journalism here in the first place. Storm should NEVER have been called a commit until it was accepted by the coaches. There is a reason neither Rivals nor Scout did. With that said, I hope Storm's Dad doesn't become a problem for his Son. Best wishes to the both of them no matter where he ends up.
