re: 2010 RB Storm Johnson "pretty much" COMMITED TO LSU

BOOM!!! I guess what we have learned here boys and girls is don't tell Storm's dad a secret. It's alright only a few Tiger fans (approximately 90,000) will know about this double top secret commitment.
Is Storm expected to play in one of the all star games? We always want a few high profile guys to announce there for publicity.

Bhelm, the article says they extended an official offer to Parker. If it is a commitable offer we plan on taking 3 backs which you thought, (with good reason) that we would not do. If it isn't commitable they are slow playing Parker in case we don't land Seastrunk. Any info on whether it was commitable? Was Dontae Williams at camp? Are they favoring my man over yours?:wink:

LSU officially offered Parker awhile ago but I wouldn't think it is commitable if what Storm's dad says is true. I do not see any room for 3 RBs in this class. I could see it being Lache or bust now and only ending up with one RB in this class if Lache has a change of heart.

Parker is at the camp but he does not have plans on announcing anytime soon.

Dontae was scheduled to be at camp but I have not heard any info on him yet. He most likely made it in.

I really hope we take 2 RB's. I know we should get Hilliard next year (fingers crossed) and the other premier LA RB, but RB's get hurt so easily I hate to settle for just one. Of course like so many others it is hard for me to fully embrace the idea of taking athletes that are projects or "reaches" when 4* RB's want to play for us. I'm not saying the coaches are making mistakes, I'm just saying it is human nature for most fans to feel that way.

That statement alone tells you he doesn't know jack sheet about recruiting.

The same thing I thought when I read it. Thankfully it was only 3 paragraphs in. So I didn't waste too much time reading.

Give Strom Johnson a break, he is only 16 or 17 years old.
