re: 2010 RB Storm Johnson "not quite" COMMITED TO LSU I hope nobody jumps on me for this.. but he reminds of me a slightly less physically developed Trent Richardson. He's bigger.. but that was the first person I thought of when I watched his film.
re: 2010 RB Storm Johnson "not quite" COMMITED TO LSU We got him! :LSU231: I found this on the another board, it's Storm Johnson at the Atlanta Nike combine in March. Here's the article, definately worth a look: Johnson, Toney impressive in Atlanta - Insider - ESPN
re: 2010 RB Storm Johnson "not quite" COMMITED TO LSU That 16 yr old MAN-BEAST has some amazing balance......not to mention he throws a couple of vicious stiff-arms in that video. Lays guys out like a pile of drunks after Mardi Gras............and a 4.45 40-yard is awesome for being a big and stacked as this guy is. He does run a bit high on occasion but he can usually make up for it with great vision and quickness and lateral movement. There are a few times where if he had gotten low and used his quickness to power through a gap, he wouldn't have had to waste so much energy dancing and having to break arm tackles. Those are things that can be taught, though. Talent cannot, and this kid has it in spades. For those of you worried that his 2-A competition is sub-par, he's going to be playing in a 4-A district this season that will have significantly bigger and better talent than what he has been playing thus far. His senior season will hopefully make him train and work harder and give him experience at a higher level of competition, in addition to being a be a much better indicator of his specific talents, and shortcomings ( if there are any ). It will also hopefully allow him to grab a 5th star. Besides Maclin and the 2 WR's. This is the commit that I've been most excited about and hoping for the longest ( not counting Lache ). Storm is going to be a HUGE asset to the Tigers and along with Shepard, Toliver, Molton, Randle, Ford, Allen, Peterson, Davis, Hunter..........and others, is going to just add that much more speed , quickness, and skill to the National Championship caliber Offense that we've already built up for the next 3-4 years. Storm and Allen in the backfield would have DBs crying for their Mommy! I can't wait to see the ludicrous amount of talent we have when we finally hit the field the next couple of years.
re: 2010 RB Storm Johnson "not quite" COMMITED TO LSU storm definately is one of the most physically gifted backs of this class... 1. Size 2. Power 3. Great Feet 4. Viscious Stiff Arm 5. Speed I do not see any glaring weakness in his game..i was most impressed bye the fact that he can run over anybody but he has tools to run away or run around the defender the one thing i don like about charles scott... i think this kid is going to be special i like him more than ford from this last class..but i maybe all wrong
re: 2010 RB Storm Johnson "not quite" COMMITED TO LSU is it wrong to get giddy about a recruit? or should i wait for nsd?
re: 2010 RB Storm Johnson "not quite" COMMITED TO LSU Scott makes people miss quite a bit actually.. but it's generally in the "box". He's got an excellent 'side step'
