We wouldn't take a guy who potentially will fill out to 230 lbs to replace a homerun threat RB. We've got the bruiser all but lined up with Storm. It looks like we're just not putting all of our eggs in one basket.. if you ask me.

Different styles of play. Just like a slot WR/#1 WR

Storm is much better than Parker imo.. Storms offer list has more in common with Dyer, Lattimore, and Seastrunk than it does with Parker. (Unless Rivals is mistaken.. which they probably are.. Storms offer list is more impressive than Lattimores).

    Lattimore:
Bama, Auburn, Clemson, Penn St, SCar, UNC, Florida St, Maryland

    Storm:
LSU, Florida, Florida St, Kentucky, Michigan St, Oklahoma, Penn St, UCLA, Tennessee, (interest/no offer from USC and tOSU)

I can't go into details but that is not the case. Lache is still in very close contact with the staff and players at LSU including Trovon. Hype is just hype and he will make it very interesting until Feb.

Plus the info coming out of Auburn about him committing soon is false, it was actually an article misinterpreted by most AU fans. He said he would have a good idea of where he is going to go in September but will make a decision at the AA game. I have confirmed that much with my Texas sources as well.

Lache will likely be at Camp with Trovon according from what I heard but him coming or not will not be a make or break for LSU since he has been here and done that already.

I think Auburn is a year away from pulling a guy like this. He'll take a look and Auburn will get a lot of good press for being in the mix as long as they will be. And they know this. Sure, they probably have a shot at it. But unless they just tear up the SEC this year with the talent they already have (and they theoretically could have a very good year), it'll be tough for a guy like Seastrunk to risk playing behind an average OL and an average QB when he knows he can play behind All Americans and compete for crystal footballs.

Compare Auburn's current commits to other Top Tier SEC programs (Bama, LSU, Florida, Georgia). It's not definitive, but Auburn is still moving back up - they're not there yet. They need another year.

After watching their videos and reading several evals, I'm definitely more impressed with Storm than I am with Parker.

For a while, everyone has been saying that Storm is ours to lose and that he will likely commit before the summer is over.

I hope this new interest in Parker is not a sign that we aren't as confident in Storm as we had initially been. Storm is a beast and I really want him to be a part of this class. You don't often see big boys with his kind of size and power, but also with the speed and quickness that he delivers.

I'd love to see the surprise on the defense's face when they see Storm and Allen run. They're two big and quick beasts.

It seems like the general consensus around here is that Parker is a backup plan for Storm and we will probably slow play him. Makes sense.

Does Parker have grade issues? I thought I heard this is why some schools are playing him slow.

Not sure about his grades but LSU is still the clear favorite.

FYI I think Jermarcus Hardrick is an old South Panola boy.

This is playing out well. Hopefully we can find out where we stand with some other premier backs before he gets antsy about committing.
