So you're basing this all on that game? We would be stupid not to accept his commitment! He would be a great compliment to Ware.

I agree, we absolutely would add a whole other element of out offense with Lache. How do you beat teams like Alabama and Florida? Get those rare game breakers that can turn an average screen pass to a touchdown rather than a 3 yard gain. WE ABSOLUTELY WANT you Lache!! Geaux Tigers

I think LS will sign with LSU on NSD. Just my opinion. I don't have any inside information.

To me LSU has too many gimmicks, we need a few every down backs. This whole Crowton thing with using specific players for specific plays is not going to work, matter of fact it's a nightmare. I would not be surprised if he signs, I just hope it doesn't effect next years class, I like the guys we got for next year. With that said, to me Lache is a situational guy from what I can tell. I would recommend Ole Miss to him, it would be a good fit but then he will probably give up a chance for a NC.

I might end up eating crow on this one but I say pass, I seriously doubt the coaches will say pass though.

I love the RBs for this year and next year just looks super.

I hope you are right, but when you look at our 2010 and 2011 commitments, LSU may have too much depth at RB position for Seastrunk.

Lache is a home run waiting to happen on every play. Next years RBs are stellar, but none of them are a big play type back like Lache.

While I agree thought that the personnel dictates the play too often. So everyone knows whats coming. LSU MUST change that next season. Its laughable how easy it is to know what play is coming next.

The problem is we are playing too much for homeruns instead of an offense that gets 1st downs. Sure 1 out 20 he might break a big one, with that is take large losses while he travels east and west. In the right offense his style could be very good...ie Ole Miss.

LSU needs someone that can run on the inside has just enough speed to get outside, and can take screens basically an every down back... this situational play calling has got to go. Lache to me is a situational back in most offenses.

In the right system Lache can probably look great, I would rather the people we already have, again, I might end up eating huge amounts of crow on this one but that is simply how I feel.

I think we should be worrying about getting to 1st base before we start talking about triples and homeruns. We need a lot more 1st base type guys.

    Ridley (Jr.)
    Ford (RS Fr.)
    Blue (Fr.)
    Ware (Fr.)
    Gore (Fr.)
Murphy (Sr. probably on the outside looking in)

    2011
    Hillard
    Hill
    Magee

To me this looks good above. Basically, it might come down to Lache over Magee, Magee sounds like he likes Alabama if he feels like it's too crowded. I have pointed out that Alabama has quite a few ahead of him as well.

LSU also has a big time home run hitter sitting on the sidelines. The thing is though the play calling has to be more diverse. Players like Shepard need to be moved around. He needs more PT so that its not so obvious he is getting the ball. LSU has a ton of talent, we just need to find a flow. LSU never gets in a flow with their play calling. We never really established anything, be it a run or pass all season. Outside of the Auburn game.

If you are playing more Shepard that takes all the carries you could give to Lache. That is the problem. LSU is running a situational offense with packages for specific players, everyone can see what play is coming. LSU needs to stop that, Shepard is going to have to improve to more than a quarterback sneak guy as well.

Shepard and Lache would be competing for the same play calls. imho

This is no way to run an offense. LSU needs a few every down backs. I would not give up Ware or Hillard for Lache, which is what we might be talking about.

    Ware/Gore/Blue>Lache
    Hillard/Hill/Magee>Lache
    IMHO

Right now LSU seems to be back on balance at RB. I wouldn't be surprised by major moves if Lache comes, but you know what I don't know.
