Rumor mill running again. Now supposedly Seastrunk committed to Oregon according to ESPNU. Again, they say that that is the rumor. Anything new you hearing Bhelm?

I heard that rumor a week ago but nothing has come out of it. Not sure if they heard anything new.

I agree, would be a great fit for LS. I think he'd have some insane stats there over his career. Personally, I was hoping a few years ago LSU would get Chip Kelly...I think hes going to be a great coach for Oregon. Did pretty good his first year.

Isn't it a recruiting violation for him to be wearing a jersey... or does it have to have his name on it?

How could they stop someone from wearing a jersey if the recruit wants to? Seems silly to me

I think Bama got in some hot water last year by allowing prospects to wear the school's jersey on a visit. I doubt it's a big deal though.

Hmm. Never heard of that. If it's true than I think the NCAA might be taking it a bit to far with that one.

It has something to do with the "simulating a gameday experience" rule I think?

    I believe you are correct.

Auburn and Tennessee recently reported similar infractions. Jerseys, announcing names over the PA system, etc.. are all secondary violations.
