Sorry, but it appears LSU is third behind USC and Auburn for Lache. Felt USC was making ground for the past couple months...looks like they are the leader at this point.
This recriting season seems to be taking a nose dive. First we lose Reed and now we stand to lose Seastrunk. Those were two I thought LSU could count on but it turns out we may have let both slip through our fingers.
I realize we will end up with another top ten class and that is certainly a good thing. That is the minimum you want to accomplish and perhaps "nose dive" was an over-exaggeration. But just a few weeks ago we were looking at a top five class. Now I am not so certain of that prospect. That's what I mean.
I hope so, but I am not so confident of that anymore, particularly if we lose Seastrunk. His commitment would certainly seal the deal for LSU.
I'm not concerned as we picked up Blue and have a great class overall but definitely think we are an underdog in the LS sweepstakes. I don't have any info but common sense tells me this. The only issue I see is losing the top two guys in the state. That's a little upsetting but it happens. As always, we will have a great class.
