If the prospect continually said that he would commit when he knew and felt comfortable then I would agree with you. It often plays out that way. However, with Lache he has always said he would either commit in December if he was going to be an early enrollee (which is not the case) or in January/Feb. He also let recruiting take a backseat during most of his season. As for the QB situation, I do not see JJ and Garrett being totally different players. They both can move out of the pocket to make throws but JJ just has a little more speed to turn it up field. Garrett can run the option but is not as big of a threat in the running game. A pocket/drop back QB can run a spread offense as well. Garrett is a more natural pocket passer. Spread and pro style formations can be run with either guy playing QB.
BhelmLSU, since Coach Porter is gone to to be a Head Coach at another school. Where does LSU stand with Seastrunk as of now? Are we still in the lead for him? !twocrystals!
Lache himself still hasn't tabbed anyone a leader up to this point. We will know more once Porter's replacement is named and the replacement is introduced to Lache.
Robinson for Miami is a rumored replacement. He coached under Miles, is a solid RB coach and is definitely a good recruiter. Gives us ties to South Florida too. Something we desperately need again. I said this guy would be a good replacement awhile back and Randle's brother confirmed that its a major rumor in the Miami community too. Take that for what you will.
bhelm, These comments seem directed at Lache attending Auburn: Auburn recruiting target Lache Seastrunk publicly calls out Nick Saban during "Big Cat Weekend" | The Rap Sheet - al.com - al.com "Hey, Nick Saban...wait till we get here." What do you think? He an Auburn lock?
Bhelm, rumors at recruiting sites are saying Seastrunk is now not a possibility with Porter gone. You hearing anything about this? They think we will end with Gore and Blue at RB for recruiting.
