Package deals almost never work in recruiting. Don't look into Reed committing to Auburn as helping them with LS as much.

Thought you guys might like to see this. It may not be accurate, but it's news nonetheless. The link is on the front page of espn.com right now, but you need to be an insider to read it.

It's hard to imagine why a kid would pass on an opportunity to play in the SEC or Big 12 and settle for the Pac-1. I can understand if you're from the west coast or want to continue beating up on high school teams but I believe to be the best you must beat the best and the Pac-1 isn't even close.

Offensive woes are no doubt finally starting to take a toll on LSU's recruiting. Lets hope it improves from here to the end of the year, otherwise it will carry into next year.

Has it? Surely Lache isn't blown away by Auburns offense.. or USCs right now.. and aren't those the 2 main competitors? So who else is there to worry about? Hunter is solid, Davis is solid, Ware is solid..

Well, Landry questioned the offense and in the new article with Davis...he did the same. Dickson is apparently questioning it too. We possibly have changes coming in the offseason, I guarantee that will cause decommits.

Right now they're committed...but that might changed by NSD if they can't get assurance from LSU's offense improving. You have struggles for a year, fine. It happens. But when it carries into a second year in a row, you have to start questioning things. LSU just might be replacing some coaches on the offensive side.

I personally think Crowton needs to go and get rid of Robinson or Yano. That way we can get a dedicated QB coach and another OC. Special Teams is not brain science. I'm sure Miles could handle that part of the team.

I'm sure he hasnt been 'blown' away by Auburn, but they have 1200 more rushing yds on the year than us. That's a lot of yds.

Except the defense struggled last year, not the offense (~30ppg). The defense is very good this season, is there any reason to believe that the offense will not be fixed as well?

We may have decommits, true. The important part is that the new OC gets players who he wants, not who Crowton wanted, etc. Example being.. say we get a more spread-oriented OC, perhaps he would rather Gore over somebody like Blue.. or Curtis Carter over someone like Mike Davis, etc.

Something has to change, that much is true.
