Not to nit pick, but this is a major theological correction. In the old covenant, the blood of sacrificed animals covered the sins whereas in the new covenant, Jesus' blood erased/erases our sins if we truly repent. the debt is paid in full. as far as Baton Rouge goes, why doesn't anyone in South Louisiana correctly pronounce it close to the true French pronunciation.:hihi:.
Obviously, in the time of Abraham jesus had not come to save the earth. So of course animal sacrifices were used as a covenant with God. When Jesus arrived and sacraficed himself for us, his blood is seen as covering of our sins. Which is why in the eucharist, we believe his blood and flesh, wine and bread, to be a connection to him.
I want what they are smokin.:insane: On the freshman playing will hurt us comment. Downs, Shep, Randle, and a handful of LSU redshirt freshman are playing. I have never understood why so many think otherwise.
Jesus Christ, our lord and savior.......could give a &^%$ less where LS goes to play college football (and take a couple of classes while there) so tell me what this has to do with a recruiting thread about 2010 RB Lache Seastrunk?
I meant specifically at that game and as far as major programs go, I would guess that we trail significantly at PT for freshman. Maybe I'm wrong but it definitely seems that way.
I doubt we are way below any major program on that stat. Teams who have an influx of true freshman are either really hurting depth wise or have a fairly new coach trying to get his own higher skilled players in like Saban.
All these stars want to play early and often. If a super recruit like Shep doesnt get anything but token touches it "may" have some effect on where a guy like Seastrunk ends up. Seastrunk articulated something in that interview regarding Shep's use. Its not a positive and other coaching staffs can use it against us. Will it have any effect? I dont think anyone can say with certainty one way or the other. The size of these kids heads can effect they way they objectively look at situations.
That does not seem to affect USC for some reason. Also the kid at UF, knew he would not sniff the field with Tebow there, and he was highly recruited. I think it has more to do with the maturity and attitude of the individual kid than it does on any coaching staff.
The main criteria will be distance and his mom usually gets her way. Having him close to home and around family at a place she has claimed to be very comfortable at tells the story IMO. She has been on campus for 10 days this summer so far and will likely be back for another unofficial for the AU game. Looks like Lache will save his official to LSU for January when many of the committed prospects will be in.
I would have to agree with this statement. If I'm a stud 5 star and I want to see PT as a true freshman, LSU would definitely get points deducted.
