Hope your right... I don't feel nearly that good about him.. Not at all.. waitWaitwait wait.. wait... I AM TIRED OF WAITING... ok.. I feel better now... Guess we will save him a spot till NSD. If we do that & he ops for another school - what then?? Thats the problem with waiting & not signing anyone else because we are afraid that it will scare him off!

Some Texas posters were saying this actually happened quite some time ago and hes soured on them since. No idea how true that is. Think its a bit early to be calling him 80/20 at this point. If he committed now, I'd feel good but its a long ways to NSD. Anything can happen from here to there. I fully expect some people to waiver, happens every year to every school.

fwiw mods on orangebloods say texas has stopped recruiting LS for a while. his skipped visit to them and a few behind the scenes issues are claimed to be the reasoning. this will no doubt be a Baylor, AU, and LSU battle to the end. I def. like our chances.

Rivals evaluation at Top Gun Camp in Florida:

"Lache Seastrunk has been as advertised. Incredibly explosive, catches much better than people give him credit for and so far is living up to the hype."

I guess Lache is going to be the "Ruben Randall" of this year! :geaux:

This thread is pretty long for July.

We should have time to seek other RBs if Lache happens to go elsewhere.

He is trying to graduate early and if he does he will decide in Dec/Jan. I believe he will make a decision at the All-star game if early enrolling doesn't work out.

"I want a coach that cares about his players," Seastrunk said. "I am looking for a coach who is going to treat me like my mother did. I want to get the feeling that we are a family. I want to be in a place that feels like home."

Uh, he's going to LSU, folks.

I believe Les is that guy.
If you look at who we are up against, what other coach has shown he is capable of being that guy.
Look at how Les treated RP(hate to bring him up), but he gave him more chances than ever and even made a promise to his mom. Thats saying alot, Les took alot of crap over that, but he shows he cares more than most coaches.
