    Lache did say he was going to do something "funny". Joke is on Auburn? Hype their fanbase only to watch them cry when he signs with LSU? Kinda like his comments on Nick Saban...

    Flenory broke the story on the LSU Scout board that morning that he would also be visiting LSU. LSU's site has some quotes from Dixon as well. They didn't publish it for the whole world to see, but it was on their boards.

    IMO you are worrying too much at this point.

    I have no idea, but if true, then his idea of what's "funny" and mine are worlds apart.

    Intentionally jerking people around has a way of coming back ... nez pas?

    Did Joe consistently name LSU his leader? I don't know, that's why I'm asking.

    My impression is he let people make their own assumptions, but he remained silent about his real intentions all along.

    Am I wrong?

    Lache's "funny" probably means what he plans to do at his announcement. Maybe he plans to do a Lee Corso or something and put on a Tiger helmet. :wave: Who knows.

    I don't think he's jerking anyone around. He's not committed anywhere or lying to anyone. He's just being a kid.
