Gore is definitely a must-take IMO. I wasn't excited about him at first, but the more I watch his film.. well.. he's a natural. He actually reminds me a bit of Dyer in running style. Dyer is more physically dominating by far though.
Christine Michael had 151 carries for 767 yards (5.1 ypc) and 9 TD's for A&M. He also had 15 receptions for 66 yards. To draw a comparison- Charles Scott had 116 carries for 542 yards (4.7 ypc) and 4 TD's in almost 9 full games for LSU this year. Charles aslo had 8 receptions for 54 yards and 1 TD. :crystal::geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal:
CM had a nice season. for the life of me i still don't know why we passed. CM was the least wanted 5 star i have ever seen.
You answered your own question. :thumb: Just because we're not all in the know, doesn't mean there's not a very, very good reason he ended up at a second tier team that wasn't high on his list...
RB Jakhari Gore COMMITS TO LSU!!!! Not being reported by the recruiting sites yet but here are some quotes from the Miami Herald. High School Sports Blog :geaux:
Re: RB Jakhari Gore Commits great news! Its good too see we aren't putting all of our eggs in the Seastrunk basket.
Re: RB Jakhari Gore Commits I don't think we're putting any eggs in the Seastrunk basket at this point.
Re: RB Jakhari Gore Commits Glad to have him. I would like to see this confirmed though. If the staff accepted his commitment I suspect Seastrunk is on the outside looking in. Maybe the staff realized we were losing our grip on him or maybe they see the three we have as better prospects. Either way it seems Seastrunk becoming a Tiger is more remote today.
Re: RB Jakhari Gore Commits His mother confirmed and it is now being reported by Scout and likely Rivals is up on it too. This could help us with DE Delvin Jones. He and Gore are friends and Gore has been recruiting him to LSU for awhile now.
