I realize coaches have their own scoring system, but the fact that Gore has scored higher on the fan-based systems might be an indication he is also scoring higher on Miles' system for similar reasons. Of course that is speculation. At any rate, it could be interesting to see what happens if Gore commits to LSU.

If LSU accepts a Gore commit...I think its a good sign Lache is telling LSU something they don't want to hear.

Looks like there are some developments and I am ready to eat crow. Gore is likely going to keep his timetable and commit next week and given the signs of increased interest from the staff, I don't see Miles asking him to hold off at this time. I don't think we are in any position to be picky right now with the recent Porter developments.

We will be getting a nice change of pace back with 4.55 guy who can cut on a dime.

PR/KR/RB or taken as a RB? It's definitely not a wasted scholarship, but I'm not counting on Lache anymore. Even with all of his ties, I'd rather be pleasantly shocked if we landed him.

    RB

Too early to tell what the coaching changes will do with both Lache and Blue.

Blue and Lache are both announcing close to NSD so we will have time to see where we stand with the new hires.

Blue just announced he was 50-50 between Ole Miss and LSU and this was after the he knew about Porter leaving. He took visits to both schools the last 2 weekends.

Ware and Gore sound good to me for running backs in this class.

At this point I think I have given up on Lache.

I think if he commits, LS is done. They are similar backs and LS did say he didn't know where he stands with LSU right now. So, I think the staff feels they won't land LS or they feel Ware might decommit. Had to know it was coming with all the stuff running around the program right now...

Like I said before, when you have a favorite coach on staff, hes going to be your position coach and recruited you for 2+ years, its going to hurt you pretty badly. Like Bhelm said, I think LSU has learned that they don't need to pass up on players who want to play for them badly now. See CM last year...I said that then and I say it now, you don't look at the future, you recruit now. What a difference a year makes.

Was CM the five star back who, I think went to Texas AM? If so, anyone know what he did last year, red-shirt?

CM is Christine Michael who did play for A&M this year with mixed results from what I heard. I don't believe he was a starter.
