Seems to me with the new limit on scholarships that non qualifers are now at a distinct disadvantage. If Blue is not qualified its gonna be hard for him to get a "real"offer from the top dogs don't you think? I mean at this rate LSU is gonna be finished by the time the season starts!

LSU and Ole Miss are now even after his visit here this weekend.

I am glad he wants to take his time because the staff doesn't have to turn him down now if he wanted to commit. Solid backup plan.

So what you're saying is if we lose Lache, we will have a blue, blue, blue christmas.

He is one of our backup plans and another is Nick Parker. I would also say Lamb could be one too because if we do happen to miss out on Lache he matches the speed we are looking for in Lache.

Out of those 2, I would say we have a better shot at Parker. Ole Miss is a major player for Blue and we have to accept that he may end up there before we know if we can afford to take another RB.

Bama eliminated and now between LSU and Ole Miss.

Won't decide until Feb so his decision could be made for him if the staff has Gore Higher on the board. I expect Gore to announce within the month unless LSU is not ready to accept his commit.

You gotta wonder if Ford not coming along like we had hoped speaks to the fact we're going after a 3rd RB in this class.

I have not heard he has looked bad but still learning.

Miles actually had some nice comments about Ford today after the scrimmage.

I didn't say he looked bad but that wasn't coming along as anticipated (still learning as you said).

Obviously Alabama has had no issue whatsoever getting Richardson on the field and being successful in doing so. And they have a stud sophomore RB in front of him.

LSU has had no real success running the ball this year and we can't get Ford onto the field to help us. That's disconcerting.

LSU recruited him knowing he would need time to develop and even if he was ahead of the curve we would still want to keep the redshirt on.
