Hello there guys, this is my first post.

Thanks for all the recruiting information, its awesome.

I had a question about Stevie Douglas, the quarterback from Louisiana. How does his tape look? and will we offer him?

    Thank you

Don't think LSU will be offering or accepting commitments any QB prospects after Lee committed.

Film looks decent but probably will end up at a non-BCS school.

    Welcome to the board.

Re: Stevie Douglas, home schooled quarterback

I heard on the radio that the legislature is considering a bill that would allow home school kids to compete on public school teams. There's a lot of opposition to this and one North La. legislator was quoted as saying "The parents already made the choice of home schooling". A lot of people out there want to make sure that kids who bypass the public school system get absolutely no benefit from the public school system that these kids' parents pay taxes for.

The situation could admittedly be abused by some HS teams who would recruit kids, etc. That doesn't mean it couldn't be managed by sensible rules.

I really don't know a lot about the issue, however because I haven't followed it at all.

Well the thread title says does say 2010. But my assessment still stands because there are 2 or 3 others in-state and another handful that LSU has their sights on in 2011.

Could be a potential walk-on IMO since his dad played for LSU.

That's OK , I still consider you better than the Oracle at Delphi at predicting the chances of recruits signing with LSU. Cool pic of the Oracle at Delphi though isn't it.

Stevie? Kid needs to either drop the ie or grow a beard.

At least Mahtook looks like he could run you down and beat the crap out of you in front of your girlfriend. Stevie looks like he wants to sell you Christmas wrapping paper...I'm sure he's a great kid, but holy crap he looks 12!
