I just told this to a die hard ND fan that I know out in Texas and he's saying that's the first he's heard. He said that Rivals Radio and everyone is saying he is Ohio State all the way.

    Update:

Nick talked about the developments and he did say OSU promised to not offer any other QBs but they explained to him their reasoning for extending the offer.

Nick says he is not going to hold it against them.

Wow, that's a little bit of a shocker I would say.

He'll be apprentice-in-waiting to a pretty darn good QB (Locker) for a bit, but he'll get his shot soon enough with a proud program that's been trying to rebuild ever since Don James signed-off.

I'm not a huge believer in Sarkisian and thought he was way too conservative at USC, when play-calling otherwise was clearly indicated but, IMO, just about anyone would be an improvement over TW.

I'd guess Montana did his homework pretty well and that he had truly expert advise along the way from someone who knows something about playing QB.

This development isn't exactly a ringing endorsement by the Montana Clan of Jabba the Weis, though ... is it?

Good point about Jabba the Weiss. I didn't think of that.

Too, he probably wanted to hoe his own path, kinda like Peyton did in going to Tenn over Ole Piss.
