I have a question. I'm no recruiting expert but I do have my finger on the pulse of recruiting as some of you know by seeing my posts in the recruiting forum. Alot of you know Dylan Favre. Of course, he's Brett Favre's nephew. It seems like everytime I watch the news this kid throws for 450 and 4 TD's in a game. I get why Dylan Favre isn't being recruited by LSU, USC, Bama, Florida, Texas, Etc... but I don't get why he is not high up on other schools' boards (i.e. USM where his uncle Brett played). Can any of you help me out with this? Dylan Favre - Yahoo! Sports
Re: QB Dylan Favre One very big reason is his height which is 5'10. Other than that I don't really know much more about him except that he is breaking records but I have heard he tends to force things at times.
He's got great genes. If LSU doesn't go after hime, some small time college is going to leave some people with egg on their face. Only 5'10"? Have we forgotten Doug Flutie already?
Could you imagine the likes of Ciron and Big Herm blocking for Dylan Favre. He wouldn't be able to see over their big asses.
Last Friday night he had 490 yards passing with 5 passing TD's and 2 rushing TD's. Sounds like he had alot of fun to me!
To put it into perspective, look at Zack Lee's stats. They are similar and he puts up huge numbers each and every game but because of the competition they go up against in Texas their record is poor. I am not sure what kind of competition he goes up against in MS, can you enlighten me?
Dylan Favre's St. Stanislaus Rock-a-Chaws are 10-1 and headed into the class 4A Playoffs. Mississippi just gained a 6A division this year (where the obvious powerhouses are). St. Stanislaus is a Catholic Boarding School for Boys in Bay St. Louis, MS. No chicks allowed (they go to OLA aka Our Lady Academy in the same town). Not sure if any of this helps you, but it certainly isn't the level of competition as a 5A or 6A......Although I'm sure Dylan could throw for some yards on them, too.
