No problem but 25 is significant as well because only 25 of the 28 can get a scholarship each year unless there are fewer than 85 scholarship players on the roster.
So, if we sign 28 and only 25 can receive scholarships. Who are the odd men out? Or would they get grey-shirted? Or are we under the 85#?
Too early to answer all those questions at this time. We have to see what the attrition numbers look like before the start of Fall Practice. We lost a couple already from the last 2 classes and there will be more like always. Some walk-ons could also get any leftover scholarships. To early to get a handle on recruits qualifying as well with much more school to go. The first of like 8 ACT/SAT test sessions just started. There could be a greyshirt and sign and place in this class.
ESPN reported that 4* DE Geno Grissom out of Kansas received an offer. He is currently committed to Kansas but his thinking about a visit to LSU. Don't really know much about him yet.
