Now that Maclin is on board...

Do we finish with Shaun Lewis & Corey Nelson?

I think we will end up with Lewis but Nelson will be a harder battle but still very possible.

Keep an eye on Michael Taylor, Christian Jones, Chase Williams (if projects as a LB), and Kevin Nelson.

Bhelm do you know why LSU hasn't offered James Haynes yet?

One of the main reasons was because they wanted to evaluate him at camp and the staff are or should get their chance this week to get a look at him.

Other than that they probably want to see the other CB prospects as well. Now that we have Vinson the staff has to decide if they want 1 or 2 more CBs. Hurd has been doing really well so far at camp and seems to be the hardest worker of the bunch. Both of these guys could potential commit in the very near future with an offer so we better make sure we know what we want before handing out offers.

Interesting article from a UT site:

Basically says LSU is a lock for Haynes if offered and Reed is a lock to LSU. Which is not a surprise.

Then it says it is down to LSU and Auburn for Lache. Something myself and many others have said for awhile now.

Either they are really blowing things out of proportion that Lache and Reed did not show up at camp together or LSU is looking really good to land all 3.

We're doing great at WR, TE, LB, DB, but where are the linemen? Need linemen. I figure Les will get the OL, need Brick and Chavis to pick it up on the DL. Seems like we will pick up at least one good running back.

Good call ... and LSU isn't the only one. I think the pickings of really top-flight OLs are scare this time around. Everyone's pretty much going after the same to 15 - 20 guys. It's gonna be a fight to see where they end up.

(I suspect the Tigers will get their share, though. They always seem to. :miles:)
