Tough one to predict because of all of his visits so far and I am sure he has many more planned that can change the landscape. Having his dad and brother (I believe his brother is an assistant on the Saints staff) here in LA helps but I do not think it is the deciding factor. If he gets offered, I would say 55%. But is very early to put %s on it for an out of state guy with so many teams in the running still.
I think people almost assume he will get an offer, mainly because of his prominent father, but I am not so sure. His offer sheet is not impressive and he is an ILB that doesn't really fit the mold of our new faster LB prototype. I'm glad he wants to take his time because I don't think he is a guy we would want to take very early. I think he has to prove to us he has the speed an instincts we are looking for since we already have Welter (ILB) and have higher rated prospects on the board.
Looks like we will get an visit from Nick Montana. Scout.com: LSU visits Montana BhelmLSU could you give us a little update on Nick Montana? :geaux:
Bradley Sylve. Soph sprinter/receiver from Port Sulphur. Got this link from DD. What do ya'll know about him?
2011 prospect who will go to LSU as a track guy and/or football if LSU wants him. That is all I know about him.
How many Scholarships can Track and Field can Offer to recruits? It is a crying shame that baseball can only Offer so little Scholarship to the baseball recruits. Thank God for Football so that they can play two Sports and come on a Football Scholarship. Prime example Mitchell, We all thought at the begainning that he was a football player playing baseball. As it turns out he is a baseball player playing football. What I am trying to say is that he is on a full scholarship because of football, because if he was just a baseball player he will only get a partial scholarship. :geaux:
Not sure how many scholarships T&F have a year. But the same rule applies, if you play football you have to be on a football scholarship no matter what.
I could have sworn Chase Williams had a thread but I can't find it. I will start one later. Look for his visits to slow down some after his long trek across the country taking in a number of programs. He will make his decision at the end of the summer or when the HS season starts and he will enroll early to the school of his choice.
