Bama number one again? We don't have to take that stuff.

How are we going to sneak up on LSU in BR if they keep this up?

You just keep your focus on the prize in a couple of weeks. Don't go getting ahead of yourselves here.

Got Ya, Does seem a little early. Think short term.

Well a little time here in LSU land should help me to lose that optimism.

Trouble is too much time and your on anti depressants. Balance my friend.

Oooo come on now. Most of us are pretty optimistic. Even with the smack talk against Bama, I think deep down most of us do respect the accomplishments that they have made. It is a great tradition in college football, and college football is better when teams like Bama are relevant. Regardless of our feelings towards many of the Bama fan base, fans like you make it tolerable to accept seeing them back in the National picture again.

Personally I do wish Bama good luck, don't want them to win, but do want the players to do their best, enjoy the experience, and for noone to get injured. And I don't take anti depressants. A good LSU butt whoopin of PS will cure all my pains.

Come on now, we need them. It makes enjoying the victories that much sweeter. I mean doesn't it make you feel better knowing you can enjoy the games, for the game and the excitement of the players. Whereas the naysayers never enjoy any game, because all they are doing is looking for the negatives to be able to biotch about.

Wow, deep deep down. You wish us well, but hope we lose.

OK, I can feel the earth beneath my feet.

I got LSU over the Mountain Lions.

Otherwise, this is going to be one long off season over here.

Come to think of it, that's probably going to be true for us too.

The offseason sucks to begin with, if you add a bowl loss to an already uneasy fan base this place will blow up. For you guys you have had a great season and a lot to be proud of, should you lose the MNC game that will just be a major let down to what is expected to be an emotional high. Not sure which one would be worse to be a part of, neither sounds too much fun.

The main reason I wish them well is because, it's college kids, can't really wish anything bad on them. They deserve to reach for the brass ring when it is placed in front of them. They worked hard to get there.

If LSU beats Penn State they will finish in the top-10 with a 10-3 record and they will open in the top-10 next season. If Bama wins, they will do the same.

    1. If two or three of our wins could easily have been losses, then our three losses could EASILY have been wins, especially the Bama and Ole Miss games--goes both ways, you see.

    2. In the next bolded portion, you bemoan LSU's "incapable" OC, then suggest we'll be subpar because of "new coaches." If our OC is so "incapable," one would think we'd need all kinds of new coaches to make us BETTER. Our new defensive coaches made us better this year; Crowton was a new OC here when we won the NC.

    3. BS. You do NOT think that 21 is too low; in fact, you've made it obvious that you think we should be that low right now, to say nothing of next year.

    4. You'd like to get back to LSU football? Really? How about when you were likely in diapers, when LSU had a losing overall record in the '90's? Would you like to get back to that?

In short, if folks think that this isn't, in fact, the golden age of LSU Football, then they are blind...and are quite likely to be disappointed mightily at some point in the future when a lesser coach can't do at LSU what Saban AND Miles have done.
