That's my hope. I don't want to wait until next season and hope that we get another quality JC guy and you certainly don't want to get a high school senior coming in raw taking over the duties after Helton leaves. We need to take this guy. Give him a year behind Helton and Jonathan can certainly pick up some pointers from him as well. Ginsburgh is going to be one helluva collegiate punter.
Here are a few punts from the Wisconsin Camp. The first punt is in the 4.90s second hang time and the second one is around 4.50s hang time. Kohl's Professional Football Camps - Kicking, Punting, and Long-Snapping - Jonathan Ginsburgh
Kohl's has updated their rankings and Jonathan is 4th in the nation. Here is the description they give: "Strong leg, steps have gotten better, Hit 57 yard 4.8 punt at Midwest Showcase Camp, won the punt competition that day, has converted to a 2 step punter, get off times have gotten better, BCS level punter, should get more great D1 offers" one of those "great D1 offers" needs to be LSU Kohl's Professional Football Camps - Kicking, Punting, and Long-Snapping - Kohl's Professional Camps - Kicking, Punting, and Long-Snapping - KOHL's Top Prospect Information Click on Class of 2010 Punters

Here is Jonathan's highlights from this season so far. Strong leg and really looks like he focuses on being consistent with Punts, Kickoffs, and FGs.
With only two scholarships left, it is extremely doubtful that he will get an offer. He could be a walkon and pick up a scholly next year.
With the way punting has gone this season, I would like for LSU to pick up this kid. He can push Helton at the very least.
