i am one of jonathan ginsburghs best friends. yeah hes jewish but he can kick the ball. he has gone to numerous kicking camps around the u.s., in wisconsin he beat the number 2 punter on his home turf. Ginsburgh hit a 58 yard punt with a 4.7 hangtime to beat the number two's kick of 45 yards with a 4.2 hangtime. He would be a very good player on LSU since that was his dream. They just havent been interested near enough. he was just offered a full athletic scholarship to tulane if he does good in the kicking camp. he has been lookin at other sec teams as well but want to go to LSU. if yall want to know more ask.

Glad you are posting. I have been discussing a lot of his accomplishments with his father.

LSU will not start showing much interest to kickers and especially punters until the kicking camp. Like most programs. LSU going to look at his transcripts is a good sign LSU is very interested.

I am pulling for him to land at LSU because his accomplishments speak for themselves and he is one of the best in the country in our own backyard.

Does anybody know if Menard is still in 3-3A? When I was in high school they still were but they did some shuffling in the district so I'm not sure anymore.

If he comes down to Avoyelles I'll check him out..even though it's not likely my alma mater's defense is going to force many punts with the mighty matthew carmouche running the show.

As Tigs mentioned Menard is a 2A school.

They play Bunkie, Buckeye, Bolton, Opelousas Catholic, and Homer in non-district games, and Winnfield, Many, Mansfield, Red River, and Lakeview in district games.

Ah, alright. If they're playing in Bunkie I'll probably give it a look, I'm like 10 minutes from there so to not go would be lazy haha.

Jonathan is rated the #6 Punter on Scout now.

I don't see us landing Sadler who is ranked above him at this time, so Jonathan would will likely be the big dog we go after. I think Jonathan should be at least a 3* based on his camp performances this summer.

helm, has LSU had any contact with him? Would he be willing to take TOPS for a year or two?

He would be willing to Redshirt if necessary. Helton will be in his senior year and a year with a shirt would give him Jonathan a good opportunity.

There has been plenty of contact in various forms from LSU and LSU is interested. :)
