4* and #6 OT according to Scout out of Desoto, TX has LSU in his top 3 along with OU and Miami.

He has been in close contact with the LSU staff and has a visit scheduled for the end of May.

This guy has a big frame and could easily carry 315-320 lbs. IMO, if the 285 listed is correct. You would think OU would be the school we would have to beat to get him. Another one not offered by Mack Brown that I would love to have. I feel confident that we will get at least one Texas OL because of our past success.

:geaux: This kid would be a huge pickup for LSU is the staff can reel him in. Can't have too many big, talented OL's in my opinion. :LSU231:

I don't get a warm and fuzzy feeling from his comments. I know I am being picky, but he said the visit was "good" instead of saying something stronger such as "great". The "better than expected" comment about our facilities seems good, but also leads me to think he wasn't extremely high on us going into the visit.
Tell me I'm wrong and we will get this kid and I'll be happy.

That was the only one I could link the other one was better.

He had a better than expected visit according to him and gave him much to think about. He loved the campus atmosphere, academic center, and the depth chart discussion with the coaches. He really liked the staff overall.

Think he has plans to visit OU next weekend.

Because of proximity, without knowing anything else, I would think Oklahoma would be our stiffest competition. A lot of kids growing up in TX want to go to either Texas or Oklahoma. I know they have impressive facilities too, but I don't know about their depth chart or how honest they are about playing time. I just know I detest Stoops.
