All the advantages LSU has mean nothing if he doesn't have a commitable offer, which is what the word is according to a few within the athletic department. This may change soon however according to a source. Can't really discuss anything else about what I am hearing.
I'm surprised that he may not have a committable offer. I read that he dominated JaMarcus McFarland last year.
Reports out of Alabama say he will commit to Bama. However, I hear the Lindsay family is now looking into LSU to see if he has a commitable offer. If there is no commitment made before his scheduled visit to the LSU Spring Game it could get interesting but as of now it looks like Bama.
Trust :milesmic: He's had fantastic recruiting classes every year, and a couple of them were outright phenomenal. If Chad Lindsay doesn't get a real offer, there's a reason. I think we've learned that by now. Honestly, I'm far more concerned with our ability to recruit in basketball.
Few options here.. if he indeed doesn't have a commitable offer. 1) His evaluation didn't fit our teams needs. 2) Being very selective at OG. Due to other recruits showing interest or our younger players stepping up. 3) He may have a commitable offer and just prefer Bama.
Word just came out from LSU sources that LSU is still where his heart is. He had a nice trip to Bama but the Alabama reports are a little skewed. Your points on 1 and 2 are valid and being discussed by the coaching staff. I feel that by the time he tries to commit he will have a commitable offer. I assume if this occurs it will be at the spring game with his family there with him.
Not sure yet and not sure what the LSU staff decided if they would accept an offer yet either. Don't be surprised if nothing happens today.
